The Yealink MVC S98 is a modular Microsoft Teams Rooms system for extra-large and ProAV environments. Its core bundle brings together multiple SmartVision 80 intelligent cameras, the MCore 4 mini-PC, MTouch Plus control panel, AVHub processing, a network switch, room sensing and BYOD connectivity.

SmartVision 80 uses a four-lens camera architecture to provide panoramic awareness, telephoto detail and PTZ coverage. Multi-Stream IntelliFrame can present participants in individual Teams video streams, while presenter tracking supports clear movement across teaching, training and presentation spaces. Yealink specifies up to 20x optical zoom and tracking at distances of up to 20 metres.

The MCore 4 supplies the compute layer, including an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor and an integrated neural processing unit. Multiple video outputs, content input, IP-based touch-console connectivity and network separation support the more demanding signal and security requirements found in enterprise rooms.

Control remains intentionally familiar. The 11.6-inch MTouch Plus provides a dedicated interface for joining and managing meetings, and projects can use more than one touch panel where room size or layout calls for distributed control.

Professional audio that can be shaped around the room

Audio is often the point at which large-room projects become difficult. Ceiling height, reflective surfaces, flexible seating and divisible layouts can all undermine an otherwise strong video system.

MVC S98 can be integrated with Yealink’s professional audio portfolio, including the CM50 Dante beamforming ceiling microphone, CS10-D ceiling loudspeaker and AP08 digital signal processor. This allows the audio design to follow the room rather than forcing the room to fit a fixed tabletop microphone arrangement.

The CM50 uses a 127-element microphone array with configurable pickup zones, supporting more precise capture in professional spaces. The AP08 adds Dante and analogue audio processing, acoustic echo cancellation, noise control and room-adaptive optimisation. For integrators, this creates a more coherent path from Teams Room control to professional ceiling audio.
