Wave Biformat

The Wave Biformat is a dual-screen projection system designed for high-specification environments, with a base width ranging from 139 cm to 223 cm. Housed within a single enclosure, it features two vertically aligned motors operating independently to control two different projection fabrics. This configuration enables multiple display options, such as alternating between 21:9 and 16:9 aspect ratios, or combining a blackout fabric with a projection surface when installed in front of a window. It also supports front and rear projection or the display of a fixed visual, such as a digitally printed logo, alongside a retractable screen for presentations. The Wave Biformat is particularly well suited for applications requiring flexibility in format and function, including corporate meeting rooms and conference venues. Key features include independently controlled motorisation and integration capabilities with home automation systems. It also shares the core specifications and build quality of the standard Wave screen range.

Wave Biformat: Dual-Fabric Projection System for Versatile Professional Use

The Wave Biformat is a high-performance motorised screen system designed to meet the varied projection requirements of professional and commercial environments. It incorporates two independently operated fabrics within a single housing, enabling flexible usage across different content formats and lighting conditions. Suitable for installation in boardrooms, training centres, conference halls, and multimedia spaces, the Wave Biformat allows users to switch between aspect ratios or projection surfaces without the need for multiple installations.

This dual-motor solution supports scenarios such as alternating between 16:9 and 21:9 video formats, or combining an obscuring fabric with a projection surface when managing ambient light from windows. It also offers the ability to project on both sides using different materials or to display fixed branding alongside retractable media content. The independent operation of each screen provides operational flexibility, especially in settings where adaptability and visual clarity are critical. The Wave Biformat is engineered with the same technical precision and durability as the standard Wave model and is compatible with home automation and control systems. Its compact housing and concealed installation options make it a practical choice for professional AV integrators and specifiers seeking reliable multi-format projection solutions.
