Jabra PanaCast 50 video bar system
The VX-3008F AMQ is an advanced control unit within the VX-3000 Series rack-mounted voice evacuation system from TOA, engineered to meet EN54 compliance for fire alarm applications. This unit enables management of voice evacuation broadcasts, including simultaneous activation of two emergency messages and prioritisation of emergency warning announcements. With eight speaker output channels, it supports up to three power amplifier modules, including standby amplifier capability. The VX-3008F AMQ incorporates digital signal processing for optimal audio quality, automatic feedback suppression, VOX-triggered broadcasting, and ambient noise control that differentiates environmental sound from system output. Its matrix output allows 2-bus speaker zone configuration, enabling both 1-bus and 2-bus zones to function within a single system. Networking compatibility supports distributed installations, and system expansion is achievable by linking units with or without amplifiers. LED indicators display operational and fault statuses, while the standby amplifier input and output terminals facilitate amplifier sharing between connected VX-3000 Series units.
- Up to 3 amps (8 zones switching between 2 amps + standby amp or 8 zones freely assignable to 1 of 2 amps)
- All mandatory indications by EN54-16
- Status indication for each speaker line
- Fault acknowledge and lamp test button
- Input DSP: flexible filtertypes and compressor
- Output DSP: flexible filtertypes, compressor and delay up to 2.7 sec
The VX-3008F AMQ is a rack-mountable control unit developed as part of TOA’s VX-3000 Series, purpose-built to manage voice evacuation procedures in critical public address and fire alarm systems. Fully compliant with European Standard EN54, the VX-3008F AMQ is designed to ensure reliable and controlled emergency communication in facilities such as commercial buildings, transport hubs, industrial complexes, and public institutions. The unit manages up to eight speaker output channels and supports the installation of up to three power amplifier modules, enabling high-priority emergency warnings and simultaneous broadcasts across multiple zones.
The VX-3008F AMQ is particularly effective in decentralised or network-based system configurations, allowing scalable integration with additional units and amplifiers across extended premises. Through digital signal processing, feedback suppression, and ambient noise control, it maintains audio clarity and intelligibility in challenging acoustic environments. Its matrix output capability allows flexible zoning, supporting both 1-bus and 2-bus zone configurations. LED indicators provide clear status visibility for system faults, amplifier outputs, and operational modes. As a central component in voice evacuation architecture, the VX-3008F AMQ enhances system resilience, broadcast efficiency, and compliance with life safety requirements.
