VERTUS MLA 608A

The VERTUS MLA 608A is an active mixed-control line array speaker system that integrates precise digital signal processing with individual amplification channels for each transducer. Each waveguide is adjusted using eight hybrid stepper motors, offering 0.01° resolution across a horizontal range of ±35°, enabling adaptable dispersion patterns. System configuration and control are managed via an RS-485 network connection using a PC and dedicated software, which allows for environment simulation, pattern selection, and parameter transmission. Autoplay routines support automatic setup, while manual adjustments can be made directly on the unit using three rear-panel controls. The modular design accommodates up to two MLA801A and three MLA608A units, delivering up to 4000W and extending frequency control to 100 Hz. For fixed installations, mounting bars are included, with optional accessories for live use with FBT MITUS subwoofers. The VERTUS MLA 608A provides precise vertical beam control, making it well suited for challenging acoustic environments and large public or performance spaces.

Precision-Controlled Line Array for Demanding Acoustic Environments

The VERTUS MLA 608A is a digitally controlled active line array module developed to address the acoustic demands of large, reverberant, or architecturally complex spaces. Designed for both fixed installations and live applications, the VERTUS MLA 608A integrates advanced DSP and individual amplification channels for each transducer, ensuring precise sound dispersion and high intelligibility across varied environments. The system employs eight hybrid stepper motors to enable highly accurate rotation of waveguides, offering horizontal adjustment in fine 0.01° increments across a ±35° range. This capability allows for the creation of optimised radiation patterns, aligning the acoustic output to the specific spatial characteristics of the venue.

Through RS-485 connectivity and dedicated control software, users can simulate acoustic environments, select dispersion patterns, and implement full system configurations remotely, significantly streamlining the setup process. In time-critical scenarios, on-board switch controls provide direct access to steering and equalisation adjustments. The modular format supports the combination of up to three VERTUS MLA 608A modules with two VERTUS MLA 801A units, delivering a total system output of 4000 watts and extending frequency control to 100 hertz.

With its compact form factor, refined aesthetic, and precise control of vertical directivity, the VERTUS MLA 608A is particularly suited to environments such as large churches, theatres, convention centres, transport terminals, and auditoriums, where controlled sound coverage and speech clarity are essential.
