The PS420 Home Cinema Videomatrix allows you to connect four seperate HD-video sources to two HDMI or DVI compatible screens and to switch between them. Audio files are also included: with the integrated S/PDIF-Digital-Audio output (coaxial and optic), you can connect a digital audio cable to an audio system. Thanks to the matrix-function, you directly connect two HDTV-devices (or beamer) to up to four source-devices. Both output devices can simultaneously use different input sources individually.

Four Sources to up to Two Screens

PureLink developed the Home Cinema Videosmatrix PS420 to make it easier for you to use your AV-equipment. It gives you the possibility to connect four different HD-video sources to two HDMI or DVI screens and switch between them.

S/PDIF-Digital Audio Output

The S/PDIF-Digital-Audio output (coaxial and optic) makes it easier for you to use the digital audio signal of the four sources because you can simply connect a coaxial audio cable or an optical audio cable to an audio system which does not support a HDMI connection. Additionally, because of the new 3D-function, you can enjoy three-dimensional images easier: the PS410 switcher supports HDMI, ARC, 3D and CEC.

Splitter- and Matrix-Function

Thanks to the splitter- and matrix-function, you can plug in the same source device into two HDTV-devices (or beamer). Additionally, every device can use one of the input devices individually. The PS420 Matrix-Switcher further more comes with a selection function with eight detection modes for various EDID identification data. Through the selection function of the different modes you can easily choose the video- and audio-format.

HDMI Audio Return Channel

The audio return channel (ARC) eliminates (like the Ethernet channel does), an additional cable within the home cinema system. On demand, the ARC sends the digital audio signal - via the HDMI cable - back to your AV-receiver. Therefore, there is no more need for a separate connection with a Toslink cable.
