The HORIZON VHA 406ND is a high-performance vertical horizontal active line array designed for demanding professional audio applications. Developed for fixed installations and touring use, this versatile enclosure offers consistent sound coverage and precise directional control, making it highly effective in venues requiring accurate audio dispersion. Housed in a 0.47-inch birch plywood cabinet and reinforced with a rugged synthetic rubber surround, the HORIZON VHA 406ND integrates four 6.5-inch woofers and a 1.4-inch neodymium compression driver featuring a 2.5-inch voice coil. A custom-designed waveguide, modelled using BEM finite element simulation, delivers optimised dispersion of 90 degrees horizontally and 20 degrees vertically, ensuring balanced coverage across the full frequency range. At its core is an 800 plus 400 watt RMS amplification module, equipped with a TCP IP network interface and compatible with Dante digital audio streams at 24-bit, 48 to 96 kHz resolution. Built to the OCA ALLIANCE AES70 protocol, the system interfaces with the INFINITO System Management Suite for centralised remote control. Housed in a robust aluminium chassis with intelligent ventilation, the module features an OLED display and high-visibility LED for field identification.
