CCL12 Loudspeaker

The CCL12 is a precision-engineered cardioid line array loudspeaker, specifically developed for small to mid-sized sound reinforcement applications. Its advanced acoustic design ensures controlled directivity across the full frequency spectrum, from 62 Hz up to 18 kHz and beyond.

Thanks to the strategic placement and digital processing of its forward- and side-firing low-frequency drivers, the CCL12 maintains consistent dispersion behaviour throughout its entire bandwidth.

Constructed as a 2-way passive system, the CCL12 features two 7-inch neodymium low-frequency drivers at the front, complemented by two 5-inch neodymium side-firing drivers. High frequencies are handled by a pair of 1.75-inch exit compression drivers, mounted on a dedicated wave-shaping element. These components work in unison to produce cylindrical wavefronts that integrate seamlessly when multiple enclosures are arrayed.

When deployed using the dedicated CCL flying frame, up to 24 CCL12 cabinets can be suspended in vertical arrays. This setup delivers a uniform 120° horizontal dispersion, ensuring consistent coverage across audience areas. Adjustable splay angles between cabinets range from 0° to 14°, in precise 1° steps, allowing for flexible configuration to suit a variety of venue requirements.

CCL12 Cardioid Line Array Loudspeaker for Precision Sound Reinforcement

The CCL12 is a compact cardioid line array loudspeaker designed for accurate, wide-coverage sound reinforcement in small to medium-scale venues. Featuring advanced driver alignment and digital processing, it delivers consistent directivity across the full frequency range. With a symmetrical enclosure layout, robust ABS construction, and support for vertical array configurations of up to 24 cabinets, the CCL12 offers a highly reliable and scalable solution for professional audio application.

The internal layout of the CCL12 is symmetrical, promoting a balanced horizontal dispersion and a highly accurate crossover transition between frequency bands. This design guarantees uniform sound distribution and high intelligibility across the listening area.

The cabinet is crafted from durable ABS polycarbonate through injection moulding and coated with a dual-component (2K) finish for enhanced weather and impact resistance. Its front and side panels are protected by a robust metal grille, backed with a water-repellent, acoustically transparent fabric. For ease of handling and transport, integrated side handles and two rear-mounted grips are included.

Engineered for performance, reliability, and flexibility, the CCL12 line array loudspeaker offers a powerful solution for professional audio environments demanding precise sound control and consistent coverage.

Optimised Directivity Across the Full Bandwidth
The CCL12 maintains controlled dispersion from 62 Hz to over 18 kHz, thanks to the precise arrangement of its LF drivers. This ensures uniform sound coverage with minimal spill into unwanted areas.
Scalable Vertical Arrays with Consistent Horizontal Coverage
Up to 24 CCL12 units can be flown in vertical columns using the dedicated CCL flying frame. Each array delivers a consistent 120° horizontal dispersion, ideal for even audience distribution.
Symmetrical Driver Configuration for Accurate Sound Imaging
All acoustic elements are arranged symmetrically around the cabinet’s centre axis. This enables coherent wavefront coupling and smooth crossover transitions between frequency bands.
Durable, Weather-Resistant Cabinet Construction
The enclosure is injection moulded from ABS polycarbonate and finished with a rugged 2K protective coating. A reinforced grille with water-repellent backing ensures long-term performance indoors and outdoors.
