ALi60 Loudspeaker

The ALi60 is a compact yet high-performance installation loudspeaker module designed for medium-scale sound reinforcement applications. As the installation variant of the AL60 from the d&b audiotechnik A-Series, the ALi60 offers flexible deployment options for both vertical and horizontal arrays. It is purpose-built for venues requiring precise and consistent sound dispersion, such as theatres, houses of worship, multipurpose halls, and indoor performance spaces. The ALi60 is optimised for permanent installation scenarios where controlled coverage and intelligibility are critical to delivering high-quality audio. When used with the AL Flyingframe, up to four ALi60 modules can be flown in vertical alignment to achieve a constant 60-degree horizontal dispersion. Alternatively, it can be arranged horizontally with the AL Flying adapter, also supporting configurations of up to four cabinets. Each unit is a passive two-way system housing two 10-inch neodymium low-frequency drivers and a 1.4-inch exit high-frequency compression driver with a 3-inch diaphragm. These components are paired with a wave shaping device and passive crossover network to deliver coherent wavefront coupling and consistent dispersion across the array. The symmetrical driver layout ensures balanced coverage, while the enclosure’s robust marine plywood construction is well-suited to permanent installations. The ALi60 enables integrators to achieve scalable coverage and accurate sound directivity, supporting complex audio requirements in a wide range of fixed applications.
