24C-E Column Extension

The 24C-E passive extender is designed for use in conjunction with the 24C column loudspeaker, providing enhanced vertical directivity control down to 190 Hz. This is achieved through the inclusion of six 4-inch neodymium drivers, arranged within the enclosure to extend low-frequency performance by an additional octave.

This unit operates passively, allowing both the 24C and 24C-E to be driven by a single amplifier channel. The drivers are configured in a cardioid pattern, featuring acoustically damped ports at the rear of the cabinet. This design results in broadband attenuation of rearward sound radiation by approximately 18 dB, offering improved control over dispersion and reducing unwanted reflections.

Extended Low-Frequency Control with the 24C-E Passive Extender

The 24C-E passive extender is an accessory loudspeaker module engineered to work alongside the 24C column loudspeaker. It features six 4-inch neodymium drivers configured in a cardioid arrangement, extending vertical directivity control down to 190 Hz while minimising rear sound radiation by approximately 18 dB. Designed for passive operation, the 24C-E requires only one amplifier channel when paired with the 24C. The enclosure is built from extruded aluminium and metal components, with a protective metal grille and integrated mounting rails for secure attachment. Available in black or white, the 24C-E also supports custom RAL finishes through the Special Colour (SC) option, making it suitable for projects where both acoustic performance and visual design are key considerations.

Extended Vertical Directivity Control
Equipped with six 4-inch neodymium drivers, the 24C-E passive extender extends vertical directivity control down to 190 Hz. This enables more consistent sound coverage across a wider listening area, particularly in acoustically challenging spaces.
Rear Attenuation with Cardioid Configuration
The driver layout incorporates rear-facing damped ports that create a cardioid dispersion pattern. This design reduces unwanted rear sound radiation by approximately 18 dB, helping to control reflections and improve intelligibility in reverberant environments.
Durable and Functional Enclosure Design
Constructed with an extruded aluminium back section and metal baffle, the 24C-E is engineered for reliability in fixed installations. A perforated metal grille protects the front and sides while maintaining acoustic transparency.
Integrated Mounting and Connection System
Extendable rails allow for secure physical attachment to the 24C loudspeaker, ensuring stable array formation. Internal N-lok connectors enable simple and efficient signal linking between units using a single amplifier channel.
