XSL8 Loudspeaker

The XSL8 is a compact line array loudspeaker module specifically engineered for mobile use and small to mid-sized sound reinforcement applications. It also integrates effectively with larger GSL and KSL Systems for fill or delay support. The XSL8 enables vertical arrays of up to 24 cabinets in compression or 22 in tension mode using the XSL Flying Frame, and up to 12 cabinets with the XSL Mounting Frame. These arrays deliver an 80-degree constant horizontal dispersion.

The loudspeaker features two forward-facing 8-inch neodymium LF drivers, two side-firing 6.5-inch neodymium LF drivers, one horn-loaded 6.5-inch MF driver, and two 1-inch exit HF compression drivers with 2-inch voice coils, optimised by a wave shaping device. Its unique driver configuration and system processing provide directivity control from 60 Hz to above 18 kHz.

Mobile-optimised 3-way line array loudspeaker for small to mid-scale applications
  • Drivers LF: 2 x 8″ and 2 x 6.5″; MF: 1 x 6.5″; HF: 2 x 1″ exit compression drivers with 2″ voice coils
  • Horizontal Coverage: 80°
  • Maximum Sound Pressure Level: 141 dB
  • Net Weight: 39 kg / 86 lb

XSL8 Line Array Loudspeaker

The XSL8 line array loudspeaker is designed for mobile use and small to medium-scale sound reinforcement, offering high output and controlled dispersion in a compact format. With its advanced component configuration and precise rigging options, the XSL8 ensures consistent performance across a wide frequency range. Its construction and design support demanding environments, making it suitable for professional touring, corporate events, and fixed installations. This system also integrates smoothly with larger GSL and KSL setups as fill or delay solutions.

High-Performance Driver Configuration
Equipped with two 8-inch and two 6.5-inch LF drivers, a 6.5-inch MF driver, and dual 1-inch HF compression drivers. This three-way setup ensures a balanced frequency response and optimised dispersion from low to high frequencies.
Consistent 80° Horizontal Dispersion
The XSL8 maintains a defined 80-degree horizontal coverage across its operating range. This allows precise audience targeting and minimal off-axis interference in various venue layouts.
Versatile Rigging and Array Options
Supports up to 24 cabinets using XSL Flying Frames and up to 12 with Mounting Frames. Rigging hardware allows 0 to 14 degree splay angles in 1-degree steps for flexible configuration.
Robust Construction for Demanding Use
Built from PC-ABS with a weather-resistant coating and reinforced grilles. Designed to endure transport, outdoor conditions, and frequent deployment in professional environments.
